Tuition listed does not include any school fees. There is a 3% handling fee added to all payment plans; Semi-Annual, Quarterly, or Monthly.

Multi-student discounts are given for families with more than one student enrolled at GPS.  Regular annual tuition rate will apply for the oldest enrolled child.  A discount of 3% will be applied to tuition for the 2nd child, 5% for more than two from the same family.

Student fee is non-refundable and due by May 1st for returning students, and within 30 days of registration for new students.  This per student fee covers consumable workbooks, use of textbooks, classroom technology and equipment, science lab supplies (all grades), and fine art supplies (through 8th grade).  All textbooks are the property of Gerard Preparatory School.

Student fee does not include uniforms, PE clothes, lunches, snacks, individual student supplies, off-site classes, retreats, student pictures, spirit wear, graduation fee, after-school care, or school events and activities.  Miscellaneous fees could be charged for these items.  A supply list of individual student supplies will be placed on the school website during the summer prior to the start of the school year.

GPS Development Fund     $600.00 per Family per Year (Min-Up to $2500.00)

The GPS Development Fund, in partnership with The Graft Fund [501(c)(3)], is a tax liability deferment option designed to put your tax dollars to good use.  By contributing to The Graft Fund, families and businesses can directly lower their dollar-for-dollar tax liability.  Rather than sending your tax dollars to the government, contribute those funds to a program that directly affects and betters the lives of children and families in your local community.

The GPS Development Fund is an annual fundraising campaign with a goal of $100,000.  It is the desire of GPS to have tuition cover the annual operating costs while the Development Fund provides resources for capital improvements and community projects.  Visit [The Graft Fund link - coming soon] for detailed goals and improvement plans.

There is an expectation that all GPS families participate with a minimum contribution of $600.00 annually, however parents can allot up to $2500.00 per year.  All contributions to The Graft Fund are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law under IRS code section 501(c)(3).

Grants & Scholarships

Grants and scholarships are available to families through three programs.  Applications for Tuition Grants can be submitted as of March 1st for returning families, or after a new family has received acceptance for admissions.  Tuition Grant applications will not be considered prior to admissions approval.  Please contact the Admissions Office to obtain a Grant and Scholarship Application.

 

Financial Policy Notes

  • Application fee for admissions is due with your new student application.  Registration/enrollment fee is due within 30 days of acceptance for new students.  Registration/enrollment fee for returning students is only discounted if registration is complete and payment made on or before January 31st.
  • Accounts must be kept current in order for students to attend classes and participate in events and activities.
  • All payments are due by the 20th of each month and late after the 25th of each month. The 12-month payment plan occurs June through May.  The 10-month payment plan occurs August through May.  All payment plans for tuition will incur a 3% payment fee added per month.  If a student is receiving scholarship funds or tuition assistance, the monthly payment fee will still be added to the remaining balance if not paid in full as per PrePaid Annual Tuition guidelines.
  • It is understood that a student is enrolled for the entire year; therefore school budgets are set accordingly.  The school must make substantial financial commitments each year based on the forecast number of students enrolled. These budgets include but are not limited to teachers salaries, adequate facilities, supplies and other operational costs and maintenance needs. For this reason, all tuitions are non-refundable and non-transfererable, except in extreme cases.  The Gerard board will consider cases on an individual basis if a student discontinues enrollment, however all fees must be paid in full as outlined, and all prepaid tuitions that are not refunded will be calculated and acknowledged as a charitable donation to the Graft Fund LLC (a non-profit 501c3)

Academic and disciplinary records will not be released for any student with an unpaid family account (this includes transcripts, report cards, testing results, and transfer records).

  • The family account of any graduating senior must be paid in full before graduation day.
  • Additional tuition will be required for virtual courses needed to fulfill individual graduation track requirements, and/or students needing accommodation or modifications to grade level academic programs in core subjects.
