I have worked in other schools with other principals and I have never been so happy or seen as much actually done for the students as in this school! Everything we do, and are instructed to do is focused on the success of our students. We are trained to take every avenue available to reach and teach our students. Our Principal is highly involved in every aspect of the school. As busy as she is, she has lead and directed our theatre arts programs for the past 22 years, she writes special academic programs as needed for individual students, and supports all the teachers with encouragement and direction. Our classrooms are full of great equipment, and our supplies for teaching never fall short. As a teacher, I couldn't be more blessed than to be able to use my skills in such a wonderful learning environment!

My daughter has thrived here, both acadenically and spititually. Great home atmosphere away from home!

Branch is a great school! Our children have been attending for 3 years. One of my children is on the SB10, and the other is not. My son would have been mainstreamed in a public school, so I hardly see the difference in him being in classes with "normal" kids at Branch. It is a lot less embarassing for him then being pulled out or having an aid come to him. My daughter is doing great- she enjoys the praise and attention in class that was lost in a large class in public school. The comment earlier about teacher turn over is not true. Most of the staff have been there the entire time I have been there. In public school, my kids had a different teacher each year- I could never have kept up with the teachers that came and went.

A small school with a big heart! You can sense the level of caring when you walk in the lobby of this school. A living room setting with fresh flowers and large smiles greets all visitors and families! Academics are advanced, but even my child with ADHD is challenged to do his best because of the level of caring in the staff. We were blessed to find this school and grateful to be part of the community!

My two children have been at Gerard since it was the 'Little Red School House' and we could'nt be happier with how well they are doing! The Branch Approach focuses on the success of every student by tailoring the academics to bot challenge and support. The balance of Art and Intellect has given our children so many ways to blossom, and build usable knowledge with self confidence. The staff is dedicated (some at the school for over 20 years) and loving, creating a nurturing enviroment that openly cares for the parents and the students. We just love it! When we found Branch we said it was an answer to prayer, and each year we still exclaim the same thanks to God for this little school with a big vision!

A blend of tradition and cutting edge progression underscores this school. My son struggled with focus in class and often felt less than successful. One year at Branch turned that around. The Branch Approach to education combines brain sciences and old fashioned nuturing-The students know they will be hugged, or smiled at everyday, and they also know the strict boundries give them the support they need to succeed. Branch offers the Smart Boards in every class so kids really can get out of their seats and get involved at front board level. They learn and teach to learn! We are truly excited to be at this school and know our son will be prepared for High School when that time comes!

As a dad I really worried about my second grade daughter when told she was struggling with academics. When we found BCCS they told us they would work with her in all subjects. Their small classes and caring teachers surpassed our expectations. She loves school now and is catching up in all areas! This is a great school!

Gerard Prep has been a great school for my son! The small class size and caring teachers have made a huge impact in his learning! The curriculum is taught in a way where the students actually learn it instead of memorize it and forget it! As a former educator for 16 years, I firmly believe in the philosophy behind Gerard Prep.

The difference is measurable! We have two sons in the school and both are extremely happy with their education, which was not the case in prior years. The classes are small, the teachers invest in the lives of the students and the administrative staff is kind and caring. We would highly recommend this school to anyone who wants more than just good for their children. At GPS they can reach their "best!"

My children are attending Gerard for the second year and I couldn't be happier. They have grown both academically and spiritually. There are only half as many students as they had in their public school classes. Because of this, they have been able to accel beyond their grade level. Every day they are challenged and LOVED. Their teachers genuinely care and choose to teach as their way to serve God.

My five year old has been attending this school for almost a year and we love it. My husband and I did a lot of research before placing her in this school because she has a congenital heart defect and I wanted the best for her and a school that would really focus on the values we felt important. My husband is a detective for Dekalb County and a real hard sell. He has the means and the skills to really 'detect' everything about a school. My daughter loves her school. Her reading and language schools are wonderful. They are very concerned about the children and the PIE meetings are very informative to all parents, in my oppinion. The staff is excellent!

This school makes a difference!
Gerard Prep has everything to provide the greatest academic opportunity to my children. I enrolled my bright, average kids at GPS for the small class environment and Christian values. They've become gifted, motivated learners excelling beyond their grade level. In public school they were floating along, being content to complete the minimum material required to pass the year end test. That may be FINE, but I want MORE for my children. GPS teaches not only academics, but also Christian morals and ethics, personal organization, and is helping them uncover their God-given gifts and talents. No longer am I sending them off to survive, I'm partnering with a school that is encouraging them to thrive. And they are becoming confident, self-motivated young individuals, conscious of caring and helping those around them. I can see the difference this school is making on the potential future for my children. Truly a blessing!

One of a kind school, one of a kind education. Gerard offers Specific specialized education for children who would otherwise fall in the cracks. They are not Special Education, they are specific-specialized Education that serves students with different learning styles and those who also are gifted and way ahead. We have a son who thought so quickly it was hard for him to express what he knew, so he was labeled with a Processing Delay and placed in Special Education with an IEP. That is how we found Gerard. They have recognized our sons advanced intelligence and give him time to process it out. Since he has been there (just this year) he has accelerated and loves school more than ever! What can we say, Gerard is a real blessing! Where else are they saying, 'remove the label and identify the learning style!' ? Here at Gerard they are!

A Year that began with nervousness and apprehension ended with success and applause! We switched from public school to this private school and our daughter is now caught up in her grade level. Small classes, excellent teaching staff with caring hearts and challenging curriculum that 'expects' students to excell make this school head and shoulders above others, plus it is the only school like it in Gwinnett County. We are blessed to have found this place!

Great School and staff! I find that the door is always open and that the teachers and principal are willing to meet with me whenever I need it. I moved my son here because of the small class sizes, and I see the difference.

I attended branch for almost 9 years and I think its the best experience I've had so far. It felt like I had a family away from home and I grew to love everyone. I was actually excited to go to school everyday. The education I obtained was excellent. During my time there, I would never change a thing.
Gerard Student

We entered Gerard with an academically normal 7th grader in which the public school system had made a very depressed young man. He never received praise for good work and the teachers seemed to harp on any negative action. We were advised by the school counselor that he had ADD. Our pediatrician told us this was totally untrue. After almost a year of Gerard we have seen a total turn-around in our son. Gone are the days of coming home crying, depression, and feelings of failure. He is extremely outgoing. He truly cares about learning and is unbelievably motivated to achieve high grades. As far as the mixed classes (SB10) I really don t feel that has been an issue. I have been very involved in our child s learning and he continues to excel. If this was causing an issue I think I would see signs of it. In addition, starting next year he will have the ability to earn AP credits offered by the state through Branch. I personally am glad to pay tuition that guarantees that my child will be taught in a very positive environment, by caring and gifted staff, in a Christian atmosphere, where he is encouraged to grow. I don t think that a parent can ask for much more.

My grandchildren have been attending this school for 7 years. They have excelled tremendously and absolutely love the theatre arts and music programs.

Gerard offers small class sizes, caring teaching staff and progressive curriculum. As the school grows they are adding on sports programs, learning through computer based courses (for AP students) and a more involved parent community, but the class size hasn't changed. My middle schooler has shown vast academic improvements, but best of all, finally is finding herself... We are blessed by this school!

What a difference a year makes! In our second year at BCCS we have seen our children learn to love school, become motivated to do their best, and take responsibility for their choices and actions. My husband and I are thrilled and look forward to graduating from 12th grade in two years!

My grandson attends and he loves it! Great Christian atmosphere, with caring and loving support from the teachers and staff! The great thing about Branch is kids learn and classroom size is small so that every child get the care and attention needed. I thank GOD that Jeremy has this opportunity in his life. Thank you Branch!!!
